During his third year of medical school, Dr. Hartung "had a blast" delivering babies and knew he had found his special calling to be an OB/Gyn physician.  He likes his patients and their families to be involved in her care as much as possible.  When several options are available for treatment or care, he believes a woman should be given the information needed to make informed choices for her health care.

In addition to his work, Dr. Hartung enjoys hiking, camping, canoeing and classical music.  He loves the Hudson community, schools and health campus and admires the commitment of his surrounding staff.

Description of Practice: 

Special medical interests include high risk OB, infertility evaluation and treatment, urinary incontinence evaluation and treatment, pelvic reconstructive surgery, OB/GYN sonography, and major/minor gynecologic disease evaluation, treatment, and surgical care.

Collaborative practice with Family Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, and General Surgeons.

Board Certification: 

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since November 1996.
