Sara Brown has been working with moms, babies and families for 17 years; first as a doula and now as a nurse-midwife.
She recognizes that every birth and every family is unique and important. “I feel especially called to serving families who may have had a previous difficult birth and are hoping for a different experience. During labor I value one-to-one presence and working with women to optimize fetal positioning. Not only do I work with mothers during pregnancy, but I also provide women’s healthcare (physicals, contraception, Pap smears, STI screening).” Sara is a certified Pelvic Floor Myofascial Release provider working with people after birth or for pelvic pain, post-hysterectomy pain, birth trauma or other trauma.
Sara is happy to be at Hudson Physicians where they value the midwifery model of care. She finds her work extremely meaningful and rewarding, and she’s grateful to have amazing co-workers and colleagues.
In her spare time, she enjoys cross country skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, hanging out in the hammock, knitting, laughing, reading, learning, spending time with family and friends, and tending to bees!
